Unbroken: 13 Stories Starring Disabled Teens: Book Review

Thank you to every person that was part of this book. I’ve been wanting a book just like this for a long time. A book where I feel seen; where I feel represented. Ever since I’ve been diagnosed I see myself less and less in books. This book is magical, and each story represented different people (Goodreads).

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Every story was so wonderful; each representing different people. I loved so many of them! I felt most represented with Found Objects by William Alexander with the main character having chronic pain. I think that one was one of the most unique stories too. Other stories I loved were The Leap And The Fall, Per Aspera Ad Astra, The Day the Dragon Came, A Play in Many Parts (that one was partly told in script format, very cool), Ballad of Weary Daughters, Mother Nature’s Youngest Daughter, and A curse, A Kindness. So you can see that I loved majority of the 13 stories, haha.

I definitely will reread this, if not the whole thing then definitely my favourites.

As Always, thanks for reading!
