The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater: Book Review

I finally read book two! Thursday morning, I finally finished it! I’m probably going to go to the bookstore this weekend and get Blue Lily, Lily Blue and The Raven King. I might even start book 3 because I’m needing to know what happens.

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

I liked this one a lot more than The Raven Boys, but I still loved that one, don’t get me wrong. I just got more of what I needed from the first book; to say it’s a great sequel is an understatement. This magic systems is one of my favourites of all time. The story is so well written and thought out. I’m obsessed with how the story is developing and the direction it’s taking me. I’m pulled into a world with magic and want to believe that it’s true.

I love my boys and Blue. I admire their friendships so much. I have a very small list of friends and hadn’t had friendships like this and in books I don’t usually love books around a group of friends like this. For example, I love Harry Potter’s trio, but I don’t like The Dress Code For Small Towns’ friend group. Each character is unique and flushed out. Every one having their own struggle and in turn getting support even in the most unlikely places.

I’m probably picking up Blue Lily, Lily Blue this weekend……. ❤

As Always, thanks for reading!
