You bet your sweet butt I read two Taylor Jenkins Reid books in January! This one, I was excited for because there was a read-along and there was a live show at the end of January discussing it. That was a lot of fun to watch. I just hope I can get to February’s book One True Loves before the next live show.
This one was hella interesting where Hannah, goes to a party after moving back to LA and then there’s a split in timelines. The reader sees both timelines and how her choices changes the outcome (Goodreads).

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
You all are probably going to get tired of me saying this, but I feel again Taylor Jenkins Reid wrote this for me. Lessons I took away from this that align with what I have been going through in my personal life.
However, I’m thinking that this books of Reid’s has less reread value because the story relies so much on the readers not knowing how the timelines are going to end. This is a pretty small complaint, but one nonetheless. I could see the argument that with knowing the plot that the characters seem a little flat. I wish we got to see more of Hannah’s interests and same for the love interests. I loved Gabby, she might even be my favourite character because she felt more fleshed out, more real.
Once I have read all of her books, I’m definitely testing my theory because so far I can see this being my least favourite of hers, but still all of them have been 5 stars.
As always, thanks for reading!
