Game of Thrones Book Tag

Good hello, friends! Happy Friday! What other way to celebrate the new (and final) season of Game of Thrones, but with a tag! Who watches??

I saw this tag done by Bookishly Brittknee, however, it was originally created by Biblio Nyan.

House Lannister

Name a book that… you originally loved, but upon a re-read realized it wasn’t go great.

I have to say Twilight, really the whole series.. I haven’t read the series in years, but rereading the books back then made me love them less and then I slowly grew to hate them. I’ll always be thankful that Twilight got me into reading, but I don’t see anything else going for that series.

House Stark

Name your most anticipated book release of [2019].

I have a few, but the book that I was excited for before even the start of the year has to be Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff. I just loved Nevernight and Godsgrave, I can’t wait for the final book!

House Targaryen

Name a book that… you felt completely slayed with fantastic characters, plot, pacing, etc.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Have I mentioned lately how much I love this book?!

House Baratheon

Name a book that… ended with a cliffhanger that genuinely pissed you off.

The first one that comes to mind is Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I even wished at one point that I read it after the series finished so I didn’t have to wait!

House Martell

Name a book that… has been on your TBR since the dawn of time.

Just look at my first Goodreads challenge, Down The TBR Hole #1, haha. I think I remember Sarah Dessen was on there, haha. Of course, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit too.

House Bolton

Name the most graphic or disturbing book that you’ve ever read.

Well, I definitely have to say any of the Game of Thrones books. But also Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James. That had some gross descriptions and scenes.

House Tyrell

Name a book that… gets better and better with every reread.

This one is hard for me… Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, but I’ve only read it twice. I really would like to reread my physical copy so I can annotate it since I wasn’t doing that the time I read it.

As always, thanks for reading!
