Forever, Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid: Book Review

Good hello, friends! I have finally read all of TJR’s books other than her novella! I’m so pleased that I got through them all and can now reread them! I’m definitely going to start with The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo since that was my first book by her and still my favourite out of them all Daisy Jones & The Six is a close second)!

My Lame Synopsis: Taylor Jenkins Reid’s debut novel of a death and some grief (Goodreads).

My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

I forgot Forever, Interrupted was her debut novel, so I’m a little less surprised that it didn’t provoke the same amount of emotion as her other books. I, of course, absolutely loved the story. I don’t know how she TJR does it, but I’m always satisfied with the ending/ with the man the character ends up with. There’s more than one way to have a happy ending. There were multiple of beautiful moments in the book, and some great quotes on grief.

I have felt grief in my relatively short life and I know I will feel it again. I think Reid understands grief like very few do. Grief changes people like nothing else and she’s a master of portraying that.

As always, thanks for reading!
