Down The TBR Hole #10

Good hello, friends! How was your Mother’s Day? Do anything fun? Another start to a week, another list of books on the chopping block!

Down The TBR Hole was originally created by Lost In A Story and the lovely logo!

Anyway, it works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

Let’s Just Jump Into It!

1. Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick

I use to really love Anna Kendrick because of Pitch Perfect especially. I really enjoy her sense of humour so I thought I would enjoy her autobiography. Despite owning the book, I’m probably going to listen to it on audiobook. Goodreads

Judgement: Keep

2. The Year After by Ashley Warner

Another book I can’t remember at all. The synopsis sounds interesting, but very hard-hitting with themes around rape. Goodreads

Judgement: Keep

3. Scalet by Marissa Meyer

I don’t know why I added book 2 and not book 1, but I’m thinking of trying the audiobook for the first book before I decide to read this. Goodreads

Judgement: Maybe keep

4.City of The Lost by Kelley Armstrong

I’ve really been wanting to get back in Armstrong’s books recently. She was one of my favourite authors when I was younger. I’ve heard so many good things about her books that I want to get back to reading her work. I knew I wanted to keep this even before reading the synopsis and now after, I definitely want to read now! Sounds so interesting! Goodreads

Judgement: Keep

5. A Darkness Absolute by Kelley Armstrong

So this is just book that comes after City of The Lost. Like for Scarlet, if I like book 1, then I’ll decide to keep this. Goodreads

Judgement: Maybe keep

As always, thanks for reading!
