The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson: Book Review

Good hello, friends! What are you doing to start making changes in your life? I have recently started doing an online class through an app to learn new skills. I hope for it to help me grow as a person and expand my knowledge! But anyways! Here we are to review the last book in this trilogy, I’m so very excited to read more books by Sanderson, especially in the same world.

My Lame Synopsis: It’s the third book in a series, what can I say? A small group of people can control metal and an even smaller group can control multiple of metals (Goodreads).

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Another favourite to add to the list! I have only read now, three books by Sanderson and he’s quickly becoming a favourite author! I, again, loved the story. Sanderson is master at twists and endings. I was shocked when I got to the end. It was lovely reading about my favourite characters again like Vin, TenSoon, Elend, and Sazed. They were perfect devices the story I didn’t want to end.

There was some wonderful commentary on history, good vs evil, humanity, and religion. I was especially fascinated by religion because recently I’ve been having lovely conversations around religion with a friend, there was a lot of parallel in our conversation and the book’s commentary. Everyone is capable of good and bad, it’s not always black and white like a lot of fiction makes it seem like.

As always, thanks for reading!
