Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab: Book Review

Good hello, friends! Welcome back to another review! Today, I’m reviewing my last Schwab book and I’m kind of glad to be done. I’m excited to move on!

My Lame Synopsis: This is the second and last book to this series! Violence creates monsters, and different types of violence creates different monsters (Goodreads). Also, no romance for those who want a book without.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

This is such a good series. I couldn’t give Our Dark Duet a 5 star because I haven’t ever really gotten along with how Schwab structures her sentences. The second half this book was missing something too. I’m not sure what that is, but I just felt that it needed something more for one more star. I’m just so fascinated by this world where violence creates monsters. The things that bother me in her other books I was able to over look for the enjoyment this world.

The main friendship was wonderful and I would be lying if I didn’t hope for more. But that’s just the romantic in me and there was a moment that allowed me to be satisfied with just a wholesome friendship.

As always, thanks for reading!
