Down The TBR Hole #12

Good hello, friends! Happy Monday! It’s crazy to me that I am now in the double digits for this series! After last week, I decided to group the Outlander series together because there’s just so many in that series that this week would have been mostly that series too.

In just a few days May will be over, but before then I’m trying to finish at least one other book! I finally finished A Torch Against The Night by Sabaa Tahir and now I’m reading The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides! I believe this is my first adult thriller and I’m pretty excited!

Down The TBR Hole was originally created by Lost In A Story and the lovely logo!

Anyway, it works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

Let’s Just Jump Into It!

1. The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

Another sequel! I don’t know how the second book came up before the first book in this Down The TBR Hole series, but just like a couple Mondays ago, I’m not going to decide on the sequel until I read the first book. I would like to see if I enjoy The Queen of the Tearling first. Goodreads

Judgement: Maybe keep

2. Burial Rites by Hannah Kent

Of course, I couldn’t remember adding Burial Rites, let alone what it’s about. After refreshing my memory on this historical fiction debut, I definitely would still pick this up! Goodreads

Judgement: Keep

3. Crow Moon by Anna Mckerrow

No idea what this is about, but I do know that I love the cover and actually have it as a beautiful print. Anyway! I’m still not sure after reading the synopsis… I’m torn! What you think? Is it worth a read?? Goodreads

Judgement: Indecisive

4. Empress of the World by Sara Ryan

Again, no idea what’s Empress of the World is about, but I do remember wanting to read a book by every author with the first name Sara/Sarah. Haha! I would definitely have enough books to read for a while if I did that! The synopsis makes me feel like it’s just a generic young adult contemporary and I think I have enough of those! Goodreads

Judgement: Go

5. Anne of Avonlea by L.M. Montgomery

The next three books are Anne of Green Gables sequels so I’ll just group them here! Definitely keep! I’m thinking of picking up Anne of Avonlea in June! Goodreads

Judgement: Keep

As always, thanks for reading!
