Open Earth by Sarah Mirk, Eva Cabrera, & Claudia Aguirre: Book Review

Good hello, friends! Happy Tuesday! I’m a bit better today than yesterday so yay! I just realized that I managed to not do a book review at all last week! Bare with me as I’m slowly, but surely solidifying my weekly schedule!

My Lame Synopsis: Into the future and in space our three main characters are in a polyamorous relationship (Goodreads).

My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

I so love short, cute graphic novels such as Open Earth. It’s empowering to see more presentation that is more outside of the norm see have been seeing lately, for example, gay characters. I only have learned about polyamory in the last few months and find it fascinating. Love is love for all kinds of love and different types of relationships. It was fun hearing how traditional monogamous relationships were strange and confusing for the one character.

I would have liked a fuller plot with more of a story arc. As cute as it was there was so much that could have happened if there was 10-20 more pages.

As always, thanks for reading!
