Fibro Friday: Never Stop Learning ~11/15/19

Good hello, friends. How are you doing? How was your week? I’m doing good and not because I’m having a good week. But I have just decided that I’m good. Actually, this week has been a rollercoaster with some really low lows.

I want to start Fibro Fridays with a quick, honest check in of how I’m doing. Do you need someone to check in with? Leave a comment or shoot an email. 🙂

Today, I wanted to talk about the importance of learning. I have always known that I would be continuing to learn throughout my life but that was originally because I wanted to be in the film industry. A hard industry to get into, but also one that changes a lot. I have since diagnosis realized that that mindset is important in multiple aspects of life even though that industry is no longer for me. Life with a chronic illness there’s always articles to read about treatment options, new research, and more.

There’s so many benefits to learning, for example, it helps strengthens memory, problem solving skills, etc. I genuinely enjoy it. I have set a goal for this week of learning for 60 minutes and I’m well beyond that. I feel accomplished.

Reading is, of course, an extension of my learning. From reading I learn about other lifestyles, cultures, and about different life experiences.

As always, thanks for reading!
